According to the data compiled by China's customs, Chinese steel product exports totaled 3.72 million t in December of 2011, decreasing by 0.48 million t month over month while increasing by 30.53% year over year. At the same time, Chinese overall steel product exports came to 48.88 million t in January-December of 2011, up 14.9% year on year.
